How it's calculated
Days = end − start. 'Include end date' adds one day (useful for durations like hotel stays or leave). Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays but not public holidays.

Should I include the end date?
Include it when both the first and last day count, like vacation or leave from Monday to Friday (5 days). Exclude it for elapsed time, like nights in a hotel.
Do business days account for public holidays?
No — only weekends are skipped, because holidays differ by country and region. Subtract your local holidays from the result.
How are months counted?
As whole calendar months plus leftover days, so 31 January to 28 February is 0 months and 28 days.
