How it's calculated
Each finding adds points (0–10, lower is better): trigger phrases 0.5 each (max 4), heavy ALL CAPS 1–2, many exclamation marks 0.5–1.5, repeated symbols 1, link-heavy text 1, URL shorteners 1.5, raw-IP links 2, all-caps or fake RE:/FW: subjects 1.5, missing unsubscribe on marketing mail 1.5.
Frequently asked questions
Does a low score guarantee inbox delivery?
No. Content is only part of it — your sending domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, sender reputation and recipients' engagement matter more. But fixing content problems removes easy reasons for filters to flag you.
Can I use words like “free” at all?
Yes. One trigger word in a well-written email from a reputable sender is fine. Filters react to many signals together — lots of triggers, caps and links at once.
