Which voices are available?

Your browser and operating system's built-in voices. Edge and Chrome include many natural-sounding online voices; macOS and iOS have high-quality downloadable ones.

Can I download the audio?

Browsers don't allow saving speech directly. Use the screen recorder with tab audio, or a dedicated TTS service, to get a file.

Is my text sent anywhere?

With local voices, no. Some browser 'online' voices (like Google's in Chrome) are processed by the browser vendor's service.
