For general information only — not medical advice. Results are estimates; talk to a doctor or qualified health professional about your own health.
How to use
- 1Enter your powerlifting total (squat + bench + deadlift) and body weight in kg.
- 2Choose your sex to use the right coefficients.
How it's calculated
Score = total × 500 ÷ polynomial(body weight). DOTS uses a 4th-order polynomial (2019); original Wilks a 5th-order polynomial. Both expect kilograms.
Frequently asked questions
DOTS or Wilks?
DOTS is newer and used by many federations since 2019, as the original Wilks formula was found to favor some weight classes. IPF uses its own GL points.
What's a good DOTS score?
Roughly 300+ is a solid intermediate, 400+ advanced and 500+ elite at national or international level.
Can I use pounds?
Convert to kilograms first (divide by 2.2046) — the coefficients are defined in kg.
