Trigonometry Calculator (Unit Circle)
Get sin, cos, tan, csc, sec and cot of any angle in degrees or radians — with exact values for special angles and the reference angle and quadrant.
How to use
- 1Enter an angle and choose degrees or radians.
- 2Read all six trig ratios, plus exact forms for special angles like 30°, 45° and 60°.
How it's calculated
sin θ = y, cos θ = x on the unit circle; tan = sin ÷ cos; csc, sec and cot are the reciprocals.
Frequently asked questions
What are the special angles?
0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° (and their multiples) have exact values like sin 30° = 1/2 and cos 45° = √2/2.
Why is tan 90° undefined?
cos 90° = 0, and tan = sin ÷ cos, so it would divide by zero.
How do I convert degrees to radians?
Multiply by π/180: 180° = π radians, 90° = π/2.
