How many plants go in one square foot?
It depends on size: 1 tomato or pepper, 4 lettuces, 9 spinach or beans, 16 carrots or radishes. Zucchini needs 2 squares.
Where should tall plants go?
On the north side of the bed (in the Northern Hemisphere) so they don't shade shorter crops.
