Can these IBANs receive money?
No — they're random numbers that happen to pass the checksum. Banks will reject them because no such account exists.
Why not use a real IBAN in tests?
Real account numbers are personal data. Generated ones keep test data safe and privacy-friendly.
Do they match the bank-code format?
They follow the country length and the character type (letters/digits) of common formats, but bank codes are random and may not match a real bank.
